Just because someone says they hate lying doesn’t mean they never lie.

Aries(March 21 – April 20)

Aries only lies if he has a serious reason, or so he thinks.

For the most part, he’s telling the truth, because he knows how ugly it is to start lying and not be able to stop it. When he lies, he usually does it for nine reasons. The first is to protect his loved ones and he will do it because relationships are very important to him. The second step is to protect one’s vulnerable ego, which is not as secure and strong as it would like to be.

Taurus(April 21 – May 21)

Taurus wants to make sure that people who like him like him too.

One of his biggest nightmares is that someone is spreading rumors about him and not being able to defend himself. So when he lies, he feels a little in control. He’s lying to save his reputation. Even if it’s a small lie, it makes him feel much better. He does not like to lie in any situation other than for personal gain.

Gemini(May 22 – June 21)

Gemini often thinks that life is boring when everyone does the right thing and no one causes problems.

He feels that life should be more unpredictable and fun, so sometimes he will lie just to start a drama. Usually between them and their friends or loving partners. When he lies, he tries to do it in a disguised way, which will not turn against him. And even if he has problems because of this, he certainly has enough lies ready to protect himself.

Cancer(June 22 – July 21)

Cancer is an introspective and introverted sign, who likes to take care of things on his own, without involving others in his personal life.

Sometimes he lies only because it is easier for him than to tell others the truth, that he needs help or that he is unhappy. When he lies, he does it because he is insecure. He is not always sure that people will understand him, so he will lie to give the impression that everything is fine. Until he manages to control his thoughts and emotions, he will have to lie.

Leo(July 22 – August 22)

When he really wants something in life, especially in his career, Leo will do everything possible to achieve that.

When he lies, he usually does it to evolve in his professional, and sometimes personal, life, although he tries to make sure that the lies do not turn against him someday. When he is not lying for personal gain, he is lying to protect himself or his family. People may think that all they do is lie, but this is not true. He only does this when he feels the need to cover himself when someone tries to hurt him or his loved ones.

Virgo(August 23 – September 22)

Virgo doesn’t like to lie. In fact, it is quite against the lie.

Of course, she likes to be known as a perfect person, to be looked at and admired by everyone. So when his imperfections are inevitably revealed, he feels the need to lie to excuse himself that his imperfections are only there temporarily.

Libra(September 23 – October 22)

Libra wants to be seen as a popular person.

And as it is always around other people or in the center of attention, it is difficult to get rid of the eyes of the curious. Besides, he knows better than anyone that if people start asking questions about him, then things can start to get pretty ugly. When he lies, he does it to keep his reputation intact. She doesn’t want to lose her friends just because she’s different or because she’s not perfect, so she’s lying to make everyone happy. Scorpio(October 23 – November 21)

Scorpio wants to keep those close to him close by, always by their side.

So when he lies, he does it to show his friends and family that he keeps his word and is there for them. It’s his way of showing that he’s trustworthy. Of course, just because he’s trustworthy doesn’t mean he’s honest. When he doesn’t have time for his loved ones, he finds false reasons to apologize.

Sagittarius(November 22 – December 21)

Sagittarius is one of the few signs that try to avoid lying as much as possible.

He likes to be popular and be nice to who he is and nothing more. For this reason, he avoids even the smallest lies. That being said, just because you don’t lie doesn’t mean you don’t ignore things. When he confronts the ugly truth about himself or the things he can’t deal with, he will lie to himself. Being completely honest with yourself is harder than being honest with others.

Capricorn(December 22 – January 19)

Capricorn wants everyone else to see it the way he sees it.

So when he feels that his reputation or public image is starting to tarnish, he will lie to make sure that everyone continues to think he is better than the rest. He wants to always feel strong and successful, and sometimes lying is the only way he can choose. If he feels that he is being taken down, he will try to save himself, but without hurting anyone around him in the process.

Aquarius(January 20 – February 18)

Aquarius is not always as progressive and different as he wants to appear to his friends.

Sometimes his experiences and interests are exactly the same as those of others. So when he lies, he makes it seem unique or superior. He also likes to choose the issues to deal with in life, because he likes to keep everything under control. And when he faces a problem he can’t deal with, then he tells small lies to get out of the situation. He doesn’t want to be considered weak, so he lies to protect himself.

Pisces(February 19 – March 20)

Pisces feel that life and the situations they invent are much easier to handle than real life, which is why they like to dream so much.

In the world of their dreams, anything can happen and they are their own bosses. When I lie, I do it only because it tries to remove even more from reality. The stories in their heads may be much more interesting than in real life, so they begin to lie unconsciously to themselves and those around them.
