When we first met, I had no idea I was meeting my best friend, the keeper of my secrets, seer of my soul.

When we first met, I had no idea I had met someone who would become my greatest confidant. The one person I could tell anything to, and never feel I would be judged. One of the few people I would be able to completely open up to; someone who I sometimes feel knows me better than I know myself.

When we first met, I had no idea all the adventures the Universe had in store for us. From the mountains to the beach, airplanes to road trips, to everywhere in-between. I never want to stop exploring with you. And we are nowhere near done wandering yet.

When your name lights up my phone, I swear my heart still skips a beat. When I look at you, and those green starburst eyes catch mine, I still get butterflies.

When we first met, I had no idea that everything I thought I knew would turn on its head. Whatever I had believed about soulmates before you (i.e. that they did not exist) did a 180. Whatever I had believed about relationships and what they should be like changed completely. I realized that I did not know what love was until I met you.
